We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Specialist to help safeguard company assets across our pipeline construction and environmental projects. This role plays a key part in protecting equipment, tools, and materials while promoting accountability and security across field operations.

You’ll collaborate with project managers, operations, and safety leaders to assess risk, investigate incidents, and implement preventive controls that reduce losses and improve site integrity.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct security assessments and audits across job sites, laydown yards, and staging areas.
  • Implement and monitor physical security measures (fencing, lighting, cameras, and access control).
  • Track and reconcile equipment and material inventories using GPS, telematics, and tagging systems.
  • Investigate theft, vandalism, or property damage and coordinate with management or law enforcement as needed.
  • Identify trends, recommend process improvements, and report findings to leadership.
  • Train employees and subcontractors on asset protection and incident reporting procedures.
  • Implement/Support Sustainability initiatives.
  • Support logistics and procurement in securing high-value materials and preventing shrinkage.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in loss prevention, investigations, or security—preferably in construction, energy, or infrastructure.
  • Experience with GPS tracking, surveillance systems, and asset control technologies.
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to remote sites in varying weather conditions.

Preferred

  • Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, or CFE).
  • Experience in pipeline, oil & gas, or heavy civil construction.
  • Knowledge of right-of-way security and multi-jurisdictional site coordination.
